A Week of Movement and Magic: Our October Wellness Retreat

Tuesday, July 15, 2025

Pilates, surf, mindfulness, spa time, and beautiful connections.

Some experiences leave a mark on your heart. Hosting our October 2024 Wellness Retreat was one of those.

Set in beautiful Bali, we welcomed six wonderful women: Toni, Sandrine, Marissa, Victoria, Venus, and Ruth, for a week of movement, stillness, exploration, and deep rest. As a host, it was a joy to witness the genuine connections that formed from day one.

From Reformer Pilates in our Legian studio to surfing at sunset in Seminyak, every day offered our girls a gentle return to self.

That’s what we aim to create with all our wellness retreats for women: not just a beautiful escape, but a meaningful pause. A space to breathe, move, and reconnect.

A Villa That Felt Like Home

Our guests stayed at a beautiful villa, a peaceful sanctuary tucked away in a quiet part of town.

It wasn’t just the space that made it special—it was the energy they brought into it. Meals were shared under the stars, stories spilled over breakfast, and laughter echoed around the pool.

And that’s what defines a true relaxation retreat—not just comfort, but connection.

Flow, Strength, and Support

Every morning began with Reformer Pilates at our Legian studio. Some classes focused on mindful control, while others—like our HIIT-style Reformer session—challenged everyone with powerful bursts of energy.

For those newer to Pilates, our Foundation Workshop with Mrs. Nancy Wuisan created a calm, welcoming space to explore breath, posture, and movement from the ground up. This part is so important for helping women understand their own limits, learn how to prevent injury and develop the skills to listen to their bodies—knowing when to rest, adjust, or modify a movement.

As a host, it’s always inspiring to watch our guests rediscover what their bodies can do. Our fitness retreats are built on that belief: movement should feel empowering, not intimidating.

Sun, Surf and Saltwater

No trip to Bali is complete without a beach day. There’s something about trying to stand up on a surfboard while the spray hits your face that brings out a childlike energy. Some caught rides, others caught seafoam, but the laughter never stopped. That sense of play is an important part of our wellness retreats—because joy is healing, too.

While the salty souls focused on the challenge, a few simply laid back on the sand, closed their eyes and smiled, soaking in the sun and sea.

Stillness That Stays With You

Midweek, we paused for our Mindfulness and Meditation Workshop, guided by Nikki Heyder. With breathwork and quiet reflection, the session offered space to let go and listen inward. Because sometimes, the most meaningful progress comes from slowing down.

A Taste of Bali, Shared Together

From beachfront seafood at Menega Cafe to traditional Nasi Kuning at the villa, every meal nourished more than just our bodies. Our cooking class, led by a beloved local chef, gave us the chance to cook, giggle and learn together.

Shared meals are always a highlight of our wellness retreats—they create connection, joy, and a fun new skillset to take home.

The Gift of Deep Rest

After days filled with movement and exploration, we turned the volume down with some well-deserved recovery. A sauna and cold plunge at Terapung Float Club, 30 minutes of reflexology, and an indulgent spa session at Kaiana Spa gave everyone space to rest and recharge.

Because any good wellness retreat knows that rest is non-negotiable.

Until Next Time
